Coca-Cola Co. announced launching sustainable grab and go bottles made of 100% recycled PET in February 2021, while packaging company Amcor plc partnered with Alianza Team in October 2021 to launch sustainable cooking oil bottles made from 100% recycled content in Colombia. The beverage segment accounts for the largest end-use share, with plastic remaining the dominant material type at approximately three-quarters of sales.
