Descriptiontext

New Logic Research is a privately held, founder/owner-operated industrial equipment manufacturer founded in 1987 and headquartered in Minden, Nevada. The company designs, builds, and sells VSEP (Vibratory Shear Enhanced Processing) membrane filtration systems based on a patented torsional oscillation mechanism that generates high shear at the membrane surface, enabling operation on feeds that foul or scale conventional membranes and supporting recovery rates of 90-93% versus 50-75% for standard spiral RO. Its core product family includes full-scale Series i systems (i18, i36, i84 plus High Pressure variants), a full Spiral RO line ranging from S-80 to S-36000, Lab & Pilot systems (Series B, LP, P50, Batch Titan 1000), and a portfolio of branded NLR membrane cleaners.

The company sells directly to enterprise industrial buyers through in-house sales engineers, supported by application analysis, pilot testing, and custom system design. Documented end markets span power generation (nuclear at TEPCO and Rancho Seco; coal, biomass, and natural gas plants), mining and metals, oil and gas, industrial wastewater (including PFAS), food and beverage, and emerging verticals such as lithium extraction and rare earth elements. Revenue is generated primarily through hardware sales of VSEP and Spiral RO systems, with recurring revenue from the proprietary NLR membrane cleaners and ancillary income from pilot testing services. Pricing is not publicly disclosed and is configured per application.
