Descriptiontext

Concrete Chemicals is a family-owned supplier of specialty chemicals serving the concrete construction industry, headquartered in Zimmerman, Minnesota. The company operates a focused six-product portfolio divided into two functional categories: concrete removal and surface cleaning (Clean-Off liquid concrete remover, Truck Wash vehicle/fleet cleaner, Salt Stop 6 salt neutralizer) and form release agents (A+, SuperCoat, and Minn Oil). Its technical differentiation rests on two proprietary formulation technologies — SuperStick™, a bonding agent that dissolves cured cement at the molecular level, and Rapid-Dry™, a rapid-cure technology used in form release agents that allows immediate form stacking and resists wash-off. All products are positioned as biodegradable, non-acidic alternatives to traditional industrial acids, and Minn Oil is engineered specifically to meet Minnesota Department of Transportation specifications.

The business runs a direct-to-consumer e-commerce model via its own website, serving construction companies, concrete contractors, and fleet operators in the continental United States (shipping is explicitly unavailable to Alaska, Hawaii, and international destinations). Pricing is generally transparent for gallon-sized SKUs, while bulk sizes (55-gallon drums and 275-gallon totes) require quote-based pricing and separate shipping billing. Distribution mixes self-serve online purchase with a quote-based wholesale channel for larger orders. The current ownership group acquired the business from a 25-year industry professional; the owners brought over 40 years of construction industry experience and were prior customers of the product line, which the company highlights as its foundational expertise advantage. Revenue is not publicly disclosed, and the company has no apparent external funding, no patents or registered trademarks on file, and no AI/ML or advanced digital capabilities disclosed in its operations.

Note on data integrity: portions of the input reference a 'Concrete Chemicals GmbH' joint venture, a €350M German government grant, and partnerships with ENERTRAG, Zaffra, and LEIPA Georg Leinfelder related to an e-SAF synthetic aviation fuel facility in Schwedt, Germany. These entries describe a different entity and are not attributable to the Zimmerman, MN construction chemicals business analyzed here.

Product and service6 records
1Clean-Off
CategoryConcrete removal chemicals
Description

A safe, biodegradable liquid concrete remover that dissolves cured cement, mortar, or concrete from surfaces by turning dried concrete into a soft, muddy consistency easily rinsed away. Contains the proprietary SuperStick bonding agent that attacks cement at the molecular level. Non-flammable, non-corrosive to paint, and biodegradable per ASTM-D5864 testing standard. Intended for construction companies, concrete contractors, and vehicle/equipment operators needing to remove hardened concrete from surfaces.

2Truck Wash
CategoryVehicle wash and cleaning chemicals
Description

A biodegradable liquid compound that penetrates and removes grease, oil, grime, diesel soot, and concrete from vehicles and equipment. Designed for construction fleet operators and concrete truck drivers.

3Salt Stop 6
CategorySalt corrosion removal chemicals
Description

A salt neutralizer and remover that works at the molecular level to demagnetize salt, stopping corrosive effects on contact. Lifts off white salt residue trapped deep in paint and clear-coat finishes. Combines salt neutralizer, cleaner/degreaser, waxing agent, rust inhibitor, and salt residue remover in one product. Built for construction fleets and vehicles operating in winter conditions.

4A+ Form Release Agent
CategoryForm release agents
Description

An oil-based form release agent designed for the concrete industry that protects surfaces from concrete without ruining paint or coatings. Safe for use on metal, wood, plastic, or fiberglass.
