Action Bullet Resistant

What Action Bullet Resistant does

Action Bullet Resistant, Inc. is a U.S.-based specialty manufacturer of bullet-resistant and blast-resistant architectural products, headquartered in West Islip, New York. The company designs, fabricates, and sells custom-engineered doors, windows, storefronts, curtain walls, transaction windows, and ballistic wall panels, all tested and certified to UL 752 (Levels 1-16), ASTM F476 forced-entry, GSA and ASTM blast, and U.S. Department of Defense Minimum Antiterrorism Standards. Its proprietary LytArmor lightweight ballistic panel system and non-ricochet construction differentiate it from standard fiberglass ballistic products, particularly for retrofit and architectural-integration use cases. The company operates as part of 'The Action Group,' sharing corporate ownership with sister companies Action Storefronts, Action Panel Systems, and Tri-State Waterjet, which together provide vertical integration across glazing, panels, and precision waterjet cutting.

The company sells primarily through an enterprise field-sales motion: a 'Find a Rep' network of regional manufacturer representatives, direct relationships with general contractors, architects, and government procurement, and website-based quote requests. All products are custom-quoted based on protection level, materials, and configuration — no standard price list is published. End markets span government facilities, banks and financial institutions, retail, schools and universities, corporate offices, luxury residential, houses of worship, and historic preservation projects. Marketing is digital-first, anchored by a content-rich website, educational blog, and social presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. The company holds no disclosed external funding and is privately held.
