Nostos

What Nostos does

Nostos is a Greek non-profit organization founded in 1995 and headquartered in Athens. Its stated functional scope covers four interlinked areas: employment services, social services, community programs, and recruitment. Together these suggest a mission of supporting job seekers, vulnerable populations, and broader community members through counseling, skills-building, placement, and social-support frameworks typical of European welfare-adjacent non-profits.

The organization operates with a headcount of 51-100, placing it in the small-to-mid band for non-profits in Greece and implying a regional or national service footprint rather than a pan-European scale. As a non-profit, its revenue mechanics most likely rest on a mix of public grants (Greek state and municipality), EU social-fund programs, philanthropic donations, and any nominal fees from partner employers or beneficiaries, although no pricing, grant, or contract data is disclosed in the source material.

The publicly available surface area is currently thin: the organization's website (new.nostos.org.gr) is captured in a loading/verification state with no program details, impact metrics, financial filings, leadership roster, partner list, or beneficiary counts. Consequently, no product, technology stack, partnership network, leadership change, or funding-round data can be substantiated from the supplied inputs, and this should be treated as a material data gap for any investment-style assessment.
