Descriptiontext

ConAlliance is a Munich-headquartered, privately held M&A advisory firm that operates exclusively across the international healthcare and life sciences sector. Founded in 2010 and controlled by Managing Partner and Inhaber (owner) Günter Carl Hober, the firm is registered in Germany as a sole proprietorship (ConAlliance Günter Hober Einzelunternehmen) alongside wholly owned operating entities ConAlliance SPV I GmbH (Munich), ConAlliance UK Ltd. (London), and CA Holding GmbH (Innsbruck). With 11–50 employees distributed across offices in Munich, London, Copenhagen, Chicago, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Innsbruck, the firm positions itself as a healthcare-specialist boutique offering the full transaction lifecycle from target identification through closing.

The firm's service catalogue is organized around three practice areas: Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory (company sales, acquisitions, succession planning, licensing, cooperation, patent/technology sale, target screening), Corporate Finance (exit preparation, financing, growth financing, buy-out/buy-in, distressed M&A), and Expertise/Due Diligence (commercial, technology, ESG due diligence, business valuation, market research, real-estate appraisal). These are delivered through three 'Healthcare Intelligence' verticals — Medical Technology, Healthcare Services, and Life Sciences — covering sub-sectors such as MedTech devices, diagnostics, pharma, biotech, telemedicine, care services, CDMO/CRO, and healthcare logistics. The team combines business-trained partners with doctors, lab experts, engineers, and lawyers to perform technical diligence that generalist advisors cannot, and the Managing Partner personally references more than 300 transaction and strategy projects completed during his career.

ConAlliance generates revenue through professional services fees on individual M&A mandates, with quote-based custom engagement pricing (no publicly disclosed rate cards). It sells both buy-side and sell-side mandates to enterprise healthcare corporates (e.g., Nestlé, Fujifilm, IQVIA, Embla Medical, Erbe Elektromedizin, Wacker Chemie, Bertelsmann, VitalAire), growth-stage life-science companies (e.g., BBS-Bioactive Bone Substitutes), and private equity funds (e.g., Agilitas Private Equity). Distribution is direct, partner-led, and referral-driven — anchored in industry reputation, multi-year awards from Financial Times, ACQ5, M&A Today, Finance Monthly, and others, and website-published deal announcements. The firm has cumulatively completed over 250 healthcare transactions and reports no external institutional investors or public-listing activity.
