What Arogya Yoga School does
Arogya Yoga School is a private, independently operated yoga teacher training institution headquartered in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India, founded by Yogi Azad Bhatt and Yogi Rajneesh in 2014/2015. The school is structured around residential, in-person certification programs (100/200/300/500-hour Yoga Teacher Training Courses) delivered in small batches of 8-15 students, with a curriculum covering Hatha and Ashtanga asana, pranayama, meditation, yoga anatomy, Sanskrit philosophy, and teaching methodology. Faculty is led by instructors with 12-15 years of experience each, including ERYT 500 credentialed teachers.
The business is credentialed by Yoga Alliance USA as a Registered Yoga School (RYS200, RYS300) and by IPHM UK, allowing graduates to receive internationally recognized RYT credentials. Pricing is one-time/all-inclusive per course — anchor products at $599 (200-hour TTC), $1,150 (300-hour TTC), and $1,850 (500-hour TTC) bundle shared accommodation, vegetarian meals, study materials, and weekend excursions; specialty tracks (Kundalini, Yin, Acro, Sound Healing, Meditation, Marma Therapy, Ayurveda Massage, Yoga Nidra) and short retreats (7-day, 14-day, Himalayan Tour) sit alongside the core TTC products.
The operating model is purely direct-to-consumer: bookings are captured via a website reservation form and WhatsApp (+91-8630677119), with students arriving in-person at the campus near the Ganga River in the Himalayas; a parallel Online YTT channel handles remote learners. Arogya claims to have trained over 3,960 graduates from 54+ countries since inception. The company has no disclosed institutional funding, no parent entity, no public revenue figures, and no technology dependencies beyond a static-content website and blog marketing layer.
