What Tents For Rent does
Tents For Rent LLC is a privately held, founder-owned outdoor event rental company headquartered in Lititz, Pennsylvania, and operating since 1972. The company rents tents and a broad set of ancillary event equipment to customers across Pennsylvania and surrounding states, delivered and installed by its own crews from a single regional facility with a physical showroom.
The core product line is built around three tent categories — High Peak tents for general events, Sailcloth Wedding tents for ceremony and reception aesthetics, and Clearspan structural tents for large or industrial applications. These are bundled with an extensive add-on catalog that includes lighting, chairs, tables, flooring and carpet, restroom trailers, generators and electrical equipment, staging, heating and cooling, and computer-aided design (CAD) layout services for visualizing tent placement. A link to an external linen partner extends the offering further. Together the catalog positions the company as a one-stop shop for outdoor events rather than a single-product tent vendor.
Commercially, Tents For Rent runs a direct-to-consumer rental model: customers request quotes by phone (717.733.9700), via an online quote form, or by visiting the showroom, and pay a 25% deposit to confirm orders, with the company handling delivery, setup, and pickup. Pricing is custom and quote-based rather than publicly listed. Customer mix is heavily SMB and individual-event oriented, spanning weddings (the primary segment), private parties, corporate events, schools and universities, industrial and construction sites, government events, fundraisers (including Relay for Life), disaster relief deployments, and niche events such as Pennsic War. The company holds a PA Home Improvement Contractor registration (#PA064830) as its principal regulatory credential. There are no disclosed funding rounds, M&A activity, partnerships of strategic significance, named institutional customers, or AI/ML capabilities in the source material.
