The Great Hall at Priestfield

What The Great Hall at Priestfield does

The Great Hall at Priestfield is a multi-space events venue operating under the Priestfield Events brand as part of the Gillingham Football Club family. Located at MEMS Priestfield Stadium, Redfern Avenue, Gillingham, Kent ME7 2PE, the venue serves primarily domestic UK customers in Kent and Southeast England, hosting weddings, corporate conferences, private celebrations, awards ceremonies, and funeral receptions. The property encompasses three distinct event spaces: The Great Hall (the flagship venue with 550-600 seated guest capacity for large-scale weddings, banquets, and conferences), The Factory (a casual pub venue), and Piano Bar (an intimate gathering space), giving the venue a usable capacity range from 10 to approximately 700 guests depending on configuration.

The venue operates professional-grade event production infrastructure underpinning its "Tech Spec" add-on offering. This includes a Martin Audio WPS PA system (WPS line array, T1215/T1230 fills, SXC118 subs, K42 amplification), an Allen & Heath Avantis digital mixing console with GX4816 stagebox, a Robe professional lighting rig (Pointes Hybrid Moving Yokes, LED beam 350 Washes) controlled via Avolites Quartz, and a Crestron CP4 control processor with touchscreen for integrated venue control. DJ packages (Pioneer CDJ2000 Nexus 2 and DJM900 NXs2) and comprehensive mic/cable inventory support both conference and live event formats. The technology is configured for conferences, banquets, weddings, and live performances rather than for software platforms or AI-driven services.

Revenue is generated through direct venue hire to consumers and corporate clients via a dedicated events team, with bookings processed by phone (01634 300 000 / 01634 350350) or email ([email protected]). Pricing is bespoke and quote-based, with four primary revenue streams: wedding venue hire, conference and corporate event hire, private hire for celebrations, and on-site catering and bar services. The company is privately held, does not disclose financials, and operates as an embedded commercial unit of Gillingham Football Club with no venture capital, private equity, or institutional investment signals present.
