Bastad Golf Club

What Bastad Golf Club does

Bastad Golf Club is a private, for-profit social organisation headquartered in Båstad, Sweden. Founded in 1930, the club operates as a membership-based venue offering golf, social events, and dining services to its members and guests. With an employee base of 11–50, the club is a small, locally rooted institution rather than a multi-site operator.

The club's core offering is built around three integrated lines: access to a golf course and related sporting amenities, organised social programming, and on-site food and beverage service. There is no evidence in the source data of proprietary technology, digital platforms, or technology-led product extensions — the business model is consistent with a traditional European golf and country club format. The corporate website at bgk.se is the stated digital presence, although the captured source content from that site rendered only a loading/verification page, so no operational, pricing, or product detail could be extracted from it.

Commercially, the club's revenue mechanics are not disclosed in the available inputs. The structure implied by its membership/social-club format — recurring membership dues, green fees or play packages, F&B spend, and event hosting — is the typical pattern for entities of this type. No pricing, customer, partnership, or financial data is present in the source material, and no funding rounds, M&A activity, or leadership changes are documented. Consequently, this description is bounded strictly to what the firmographic and qualitative inputs support, and the absence of richer commercial data is itself a notable characteristic of the available evidence.
