Zona

What Zona does

Zona s.r.l. is a privately held Italian cleaning services company founded in 1974, headquartered in Monza with a registered legal office in Milan. The company provides professional industrial and civil cleaning services across the Lombardy region, covering 12 provinces and 40+ municipalities, with a customer base that spans manufacturing, automotive, food, retail, healthcare, textile, and government clients. Its service portfolio includes core industrial and office cleaning complemented by specialized offerings such as condominium cleaning, hospital and school cleaning, pool/gym/sports facility cleaning, shopping center cleaning, and residential services for private individuals.

The company's technical differentiation is concentrated in its disinfection and sanitization capabilities, notably the Microdefender volumetric disinfection system (which uses H2O2 aerosolization via DS2.0 devices) and electrostatic atomizer-based localized disinfection, both developed in collaboration with partner WP Biomedical. HACCP-compliant cleaning for the food industry, pest control (deratization and disinfestation), and specialized floor treatments round out the specialized service portfolio.

Zona operates a direct-to-customer business model with no disclosed pricing tiers and no public revenue figures. GTM is primarily through free on-site estimates, website contact forms, and direct customer referrals, supported by an extensive local SEO presence with municipality-specific landing pages. The company is privately held with no external institutional investors, no funding history, and no disclosed headcount, suggesting a stable, family- or founder-controlled regional operator.
