What About Plants Zundert does
About Plants Zundert B.V. is a Dutch wholesale plant nursery headquartered in Wernhout, Netherlands, founded in 2009 and operating under the About Plants brand. The company supplies garden and ornamental plants to professional customers, functioning as a single-location grower-distributor rather than a multi-product platform. Its assortment is documented in a downloadable price list and product catalog, with no proprietary technology, digital platform, or AI capabilities evident in its offering.
The business runs on a traditional wholesale model: customers place orders via phone or email through named sales contacts Rob Hendrickx and Dewy Anthonissen, and the company fulfills regional deliveries primarily within the Netherlands and adjacent European markets. Distribution is conducted through two channels: direct field sales via the in-house sales team, and product listings on the Floraxchange horticultural marketplace. The company's marketing footprint consists of a multilingual corporate website (Dutch, English, French, German) serving as the primary digital touchpoint.
About Plants B.V. operates as an independent private company with no parent, no institutional investors, and no disclosed funding history. With a headcount of 11–50 employees, the firm appears to be a small, owner-operated wholesale nursery rather than a scaled platform business. Ownership is held at the founder level (Ron Opstal listed as owner), with operational control exercised by the small sales team. No revenue, growth metrics, certifications, patents, partnerships beyond the marketplace listing, or third-party validation signals are disclosed in the available data.
