What R21 Architects does
R21 Architects s.r.o. is a privately held Czech architectural design practice headquartered at Mánesova 864/19, Prague 2, operating since at least 2006 under legal entity IČO 241 80 611. The firm provides comprehensive architectural and consulting services across all project phases — from urban planning coordination and spatial studies through detailed design and construction supervision — covering residential, commercial, hospitality, civic, and interior projects. It is staffed by a team of approximately 12 architects and designers, led by founding partners Ing. arch. Pavel Kecek (Czech Chamber of Architects member, previously at LO-TECH studio, Atelier A.B.D., and HKR Prague) and Ing. arch. Hynek Vlach (previously at Aukett Fitzroy Robinson-Prague).
The firm's portfolio spans four primary service lines: (1) urban planning and masterplanning (notably the 100,000 sqm Praga Hostivař residential district for Rezidence Pragovka, and the ~11 ha Cihelna study); (2) residential buildings and senior-living facilities (Kejřův Park 1 and 2, Na Beránku, Domov pro seniory Vysoké Mýto); (3) commercial, office, and technology-park projects (Technology Park Brno at 40,000 sqm); and (4) heritage reconstruction and interior design (Palace Hotel Hořín, Zbirohský dvůr, Iveco Czech Republic interiors). The firm has won two regional industry awards — Real Estate Project of the Year Prague 9 in 2012 and 2013 — and explicitly markets expertise in heritage preservation and energy-efficient/green building design.
R21 generates revenue through project-based professional service fees on a sales-led, direct-engagement basis with B2B clients including real estate developers (Sekyra Group, CR-City, Prague Property Leader, Rezidence Pragovka, Prague Prime Homes), corporations (Iveco Czech Republic), and municipal governments (Hradec Králové, Vysoké Mýto, Ústí nad Orlicí, Radiměř, Černošice). The firm is independently owned with no parent company, venture capital backing, or public listing. Geographic reach is domestic-Czech with project footprints across at least eight regions and claimed international client experience via its partners' prior tenure abroad.
