What Truòng Dai hoc Kien Truc Hô Chí Minh does

Trường Đại học Kiến trúc Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh (University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City, UAH) is a state-owned public university in Vietnam, founded in 1976, specializing in architecture, construction engineering, urban planning, and applied design education. The institution operates across three campuses — the main campus at 196 Pasteur Street in Ho Chi Minh City, plus branch training centers in Can Tho and Da Lat — and is governed under Vietnam's Ministry of Construction. UAH delivers a multi-tier educational portfolio: nine undergraduate programs (Architecture, Construction, Planning, Industrial Design, Interior Architecture, Fine Arts, Urban Infrastructure Engineering, Basic Sciences, Political Theory), postgraduate Master's and PhD programs, internationally-linked training programs with partners in Taiwan, Thailand, and India, and continuing/work-study programs for working professionals. The university also maintains an online admissions portal (tuyensinh.uah.edu.vn) and a dedicated training management system for direct-to-student enrollment.

UAH's operating model combines government budget allocation with tuition-based revenue across regular, international, postgraduate, and continuing education streams, plus research and consulting services to public and private sector partners. It has secured AUN-QA international accreditation for three programs (2022) and MOET national accreditation for six programs (2022-2023), positioning it as one of two flagship architecture universities in Vietnam alongside Hanoi Architectural University, with which it signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement in late 2025. The university's competitive positioning rests on a 50-year institutional heritage tied to a 100-year national tradition of architect training, a 35,000+ alumni network, and an enterprise partnership ecosystem spanning Vietnam's leading construction, real estate, and infrastructure groups (Sun Group, ATAD, CC1, Central Construction, Newtecons, and others). Core technology is limited to digital learning management systems and architecture design software platforms; no proprietary AI or advanced technology assets are disclosed.
