People, Energy & Environment Development Association

What People, Energy & Environment Development Association does

People, Energy & Environment Development Association (PEEDA) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in 1997 and headquartered in Kathmandu, Nepal. Per its self-description, PEEDA promotes sustainable energy and environmental conservation projects, operating within the development-sector mandate typical of Nepali civil-society organizations. Its functional scope spans advocacy, project implementation, and awareness-raising around renewable energy adoption and environmental protection, though no specific programs, beneficiary metrics, or project portfolio are disclosed in the available source material.

The organization is classified as a non-profit with a headcount band of 11-50 employees, consistent with a small-to-mid-sized Nepali NGO that likely operates project-based rather than continuous-revenue streams. No products, services, technology platforms, partnerships, awards, customer/beneficiary lists, or pricing/revenue model are recorded in the input. Its website (peeda.net) and the corroborating data source were captured as a loading/verification page at the time of extraction, providing no further operational detail. Accordingly, the business model can only be inferred at the structure level: non-profit, funded through grants, donations, or project contracts, with Kathmandu as the operating base. No geographic footprint, customer segmentation, or technology stack is verifiable from the supplied data.
