What patman productions does

Patman Productions Inc. is a Calgary, Alberta-based event production and security services company serving Western Canada. Founded by Patrick Weeks and operating for 24 years, the company provides licensed security personnel, professional stage and technical crews (lighting, audio, video), event planning, equipment rentals (including a 192-foot aluminum stage barricade system), and on-site medical services. Its customer base spans entertainment promoters, municipal venues, sports organizations, and corporate clients, with demonstrated capability to manage crowds of 20,000 to 50,000 at marquee events including the NHL Heritage Classic, JUNO Awards, and Canadian Country Music Awards. The company is the exclusive supplier of security and stage crew services to the City of Calgary, Red Deer Centrium, The Arena in Medicine Hat, Lethbridge ENMAX Centre, and Western Financial Place Cranbrook.

The business operates as a labor-intensive professional services provider with five revenue streams: event production crew, licensed security, equipment rentals, event planning, and medical/support services. Pricing is quote-based and tailored per event; there are no publicly disclosed standard rate cards. Go-to-market is direct B2B enterprise sales, supported by industry referrals, venue partnerships, and a basic website lead-capture funnel. The company has 43 employees, no proprietary technology platform, and relies on standard communications tools for crew coordination. It is privately held and entirely founder- and family-controlled, with Shelly Weeks serving as CEO, Spenser Weeks as Office Manager, and Harry Brar as Event Coordinator and Security Supervisor. Key certifications include PROServe (Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis) and WHMIS, which are regulatory prerequisites for servicing liquor-licensed venues.
