Cartech Auto Center

What Cartech Auto Center does

CarTech Auto Repair is an independent, single-location full-service automotive repair shop founded in 1995 by owner Mike Dietzen in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, and serving the broader Fox Valley region. The business operates from a single facility at W968 Highway 96 with 6 service bays and a roster of three highly tenured technicians—Mike (43 years), Wally (38 years), and Jeremy (22 years)—and offers a comprehensive range of services including factory scheduled maintenance, computer diagnostics, transmission and engine repair, brake and chassis work, electrical and HVAC services, exhaust repair, sales and installation of over 30 tire brands, and 24-hour towing and roadside assistance. Operations are supported by a newly remodeled waiting area (added 2018) with Wi-Fi, electronics charging stations, TV, and a children's playroom, alongside a free shuttle service and a 24-hour secure lockbox for after-hours drop-off.

The revenue model is direct-to-consumer and transactional, with services quoted on a per-job basis at undisclosed rates under a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty; there are no subscription plans or published pricing. Customer acquisition relies almost entirely on local community reputation, word-of-mouth, and third-party reviews (Google and SureCritic) rather than paid marketing, and the website (cartechautorepair.com) functions as an informational and appointment-scheduling tool. The underlying technology stack is conventional for the trade—standard diagnostic and repair equipment plus computer-based vehicle diagnostics—with back-office operations managed through the Autoshop Solutions platform; partnerships with AC Delco, BG Products, and the International Automotive Technicians Network (IATN) support parts sourcing and technician knowledge development. The shop holds an A+ Better Business Bureau rating.
