Camera de Comert si Industrie Bacau

What Camera de Comert si Industrie Bacau does

Camera de Comert si Industrie Bacau (CCI Bacau) is the officially recognized Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Bacau County, Romania. It is a non-profit, quasi-governmental organization operating from Str. Libertatii Nr. 1, Bacau (postal code 600052), with approximately 8 employees and regional representations across the county. Its mandate is to support and promote business development in the Bacau region through services including company formation assistance, business consulting, business opportunity identification, company promotion, internationalization support, export documentation processing, trade fair and exhibition organization, business event coordination, professional training, and research and innovation support. The organization also operates a 'Voice of Firms' initiative that facilitates dialogue between local businesses and public authorities.

CCI Bacau's revenue model is built on fees for professional services such as firm registration, consulting, certification, export documentation, and trade fair participation, supplemented materially by grants from EU-funded programs. It has implemented multiple European Social Fund projects focused on digital skills development, including the completed e-worker project (September 2022 to December 2023), the CAD - Cresterea Abilitatilor Digitale project (POCU/860/3/12/142947), the EVOLVE project running September 2024 to August 2027, and the ID - Involved in Digitalization project. Training delivery under these projects covers areas such as Web Design, Data Entry Operations, Computer Network Administration, and ECDL certifications, delivered in partnership with private firms including Ioanida Turism SRL, CSA Travel SRL Bacau, and Ymac Saby Company SRL.

Distribution is primarily direct-to-customer through in-person visits to the Bacau headquarters, regional representations across the county, and remote contact via phone (+4 0234/570 010) and email ([email protected]), with supplementary outreach through Facebook, Instagram, X, the corporate website at ccibc.ro, and on-the-ground events. CCI Bacau is not a technology company: its core offering is a portfolio of business support services rather than a software platform, and pricing for services is not publicly disclosed. The organization is currently undertaking a website reconstruction to align with new web-design standards, and stakeholders are directed to email and phone channels during the rebuild.
