CIEADEP - Convenção das Igrejas Evangélicas Assembleia de Deus no Estado do Paraná

What CIEADEP - Convenção das Igrejas Evangélicas Assembleia de Deus no Estado do Paraná does

CIEADEP — Convenção das Igrejas Evangélicas Assembleia de Deus no Estado do Paraná — is a private, non-profit religious convention founded in 1960 that serves as the official coordinating body for Assembly of God churches across the Brazilian state of Paraná and select international locations. The organization governs an ecclesiastical network organized into 16 regions covering more than 200 church fields in Paraná plus affiliated congregations in Japan, Paraguay, Portugal, Spain, and the United States. Operationally, CIEADEP runs an elected Mesa Diretora (board) under President Pr. Perci Fontoura (2023/2026 mandate) and coordinates ministerial ordination through the CAOM commission, biblical education through IBADEP, social assistance through CEASPA, youth ministry through UMADEPAR, ministers' wives ministry through UEMADEPAR, family support through DEFAM, security coordination through DESEGPAR, and regional ministers' coordination through UMADERSUL.

The convention's go-to-market is event-driven, anchored on the annual Assembléia Geral Ordinária (AGO) — most recently the 64th AGO in Toledo/Paraná in December 2024, which consecrated 663 evangelists and pastors — supplemented by regional congresses, departmental gatherings, and a digital member portal (Sigloc) for ministers and churches. Distribution is regional, delivered through direct relationships with church leadership across the 16 ecclesiastical regions, while marketing relies on the official website, YouTube programming (e.g., "Resgatando Almas"), and an active Facebook presence. CIEADEP maintains affiliation with the national CGADB convention, where its president serves as 4th Vice-President.

Revenue is generated through member church contributions, supplemented by the social assistance activities of CEASPA and event-driven offerings; the organization does not charge for its core ecclesiastical coordination services. Technology infrastructure is minimal and non-proprietary — limited to a web CMS, social media channels, and the Sigloc membership management portal — with no disclosed AI/ML capabilities, patents, or external funding. The entity has 9 direct administrative employees supported by a broader volunteer pastoral leadership structure across the affiliated churches.
