What christ the king catholic school does

Christ the King is a Catholic parish and affiliated K-8 school (Christ the King Catholic School) located in Tampa, Florida, operating under the Diocese of St. Petersburg. The parish serves a registered congregation of Catholic families in the Tampa Bay area, delivering the standard suite of parish functions: weekend and daily Mass, the seven sacraments, faith formation and sacramental preparation, youth ministry, adult formation, and community outreach.

The campus centers on a 1,000-seat sanctuary, the Christ the King Catholic School (K-8), and the Bailey Center, which is currently being expanded under the Celebrate Youth capital campaign. Programs include a parish school, religious education (PSR), Vacation Bible School, youth ministry, adult faith formation, and outreach partnerships with Catholic Charities and Feeding Tampa Bay. Operations are supported by approximately 35 staff and a roster of clergy, school employees, and volunteers. Recent technology investments include a migration of online giving from Parishsoft to Pushpay and expanded live-streaming of Mass.

The entity is a religious nonprofit; revenue is generated through Sunday offertory/stewardship giving, school tuition, fees, donations, and capital campaign contributions. It does not operate on a commercial business model, and financial results are not publicly disclosed. The school functions as a parish feeder institution and a tuition-supported academy, with families enrolled across K-8 grade levels.
