BRK Wasserwacht

What BRK Wasserwacht does

BRK Wasserwacht (legal name: Wasserwacht Ortsgruppe Königsbrunn) is a local, non-profit volunteer water rescue and safety chapter of the Bavarian Red Cross (Bayerisches Rotes Kreuz), operating in Königsbrunn bei Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany. Founded circa 1967, the organization delivers water rescue services, swimming instruction, and youth water-safety education to the local community. Its product and service portfolio comprises official German rescue swimming certification courses (DRSA / Rettungsschwimmabzeichen), youth swimming badges (Jugendschwimmabzeichen), advanced specialized training (Fachausbildungen), first-aid/medical services for events (Sanitätsdienst), learn-to-swim programs (Schwimmen lernen), and a mobile rescue equipment unit (Geschirrmobil).

The organization has no proprietary technology platform; its "technology" is fundamentally human — trained volunteer personnel, in-person instruction, and physical rescue equipment. Its digital presence is limited to a WordPress-based website (koenigsbrunn.wasserwacht.de) and an Instagram/Linktree social channel, used for top-of-funnel community outreach and course enrollment.

The business model is that of a registered charitable organization: revenue (where it exists) is derived from course fees, membership dues, and small-scale paid event services such as Sanitätsdienst and Geschirrmobil rentals. There are no publicly disclosed prices, no app, no API, no integrations, and no commercial GTM motion. Distribution is entirely direct and local — services are delivered in person to community members within a single municipality.
