Ek Design Industries Limited

What Ek Design Industries Limited does

Ek Design Industries Limited is a privately held, founder-led furniture manufacturer founded in 2016 and headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The company designs and produces custom-made furniture across three primary verticals: modular office furniture (its lead segment), residential furnishings, and hospitality/commercial-grade pieces. Operations are anchored by a 3-acre in-house manufacturing facility in Pune, and the company operates a made-to-order model with no finished-goods inventory, resulting in standard delivery timelines of 30–60 working days.

The product portfolio is organized into named design series and includes modular workstations (Apex, Bold, Fusion, Neo, Prime), a broad line of ergonomic mesh office chairs, executive and conference tables, residential sofas (including a Wegner tribute collection), dining and lounge seating, side and coffee tables, and storage solutions. Production uses sustainable, eco-conscious materials and in-house processes that enable customization and quality control.

Revenue is generated through three channels: direct-to-consumer e-commerce via ekdesign.in, an authorized domestic dealer network ('Become A Dealer'), and white-label/B2B manufacturing for enterprises selling under their own brand. Pricing is quote-based and not publicly disclosed; customers must contact the company for pricing on made-to-order products. The company serves only the Indian domestic market, is bootstrapped with no external investors or funding rounds on record, and operates with approximately 23 employees.
