Elim Church Christchurch City

What Elim Church Christchurch City does

Elim Church Christchurch City is a unified church community operating across three physical campuses in Christchurch, New Zealand: Belfast (803 Main North Road), Burnside (193 Grahams Road), and City (285 Cashel Street). The organization provides spiritual worship services, faith-based community programs, and age-specific ministry offerings to the general Christchurch public, welcoming members regardless of background, culture, or stage of life. The Elim name references a biblical oasis offering rest to weary travelers, and messaging emphasizes a welcoming, inclusive environment for first-time visitors and returning attendees alike.

Each campus is led by co-pastor couples: Phil and Emma Parkes (Belfast), Phil and Bronwyn Godsiff (Burnside), and Nu and Taua Telea (City). The ministry portfolio includes weekly Sunday worship services, children's programs (Power Sparks for under 5s, featuring a babies room with a live service feed; Power Zone for primary school age), youth programs (Voltage for school years 7-11 on alternate Sundays; Oxygen for high school age on Wednesday evenings at the City Campus), and community programs such as Cafe Conversations and Elim Music at Belfast. Outreach is conducted through campus-specific Facebook pages, an Instagram presence at Belfast, and a YouTube sermon channel.

The business model is non-commercial: services and programs are provided at no charge, with no pricing, no paid products, and no disclosed revenue, tithing, or donation figures. The organization operates with approximately 5 listed employees, implying heavy reliance on volunteer involvement consistent with congregational church models. The technology stack is limited to a Wix-hosted website and standard social media channels; there are no mobile applications, APIs, integrations, AI/ML capabilities, patents, certifications, partnerships, or funding history disclosed in the input data.
