FC Džiugas Telšiai

What FC Džiugas Telšiai does

FC Džiugas Telšiai is a multi-divisional Lithuanian football club headquartered at Lygumų g. 47, Telšiai, and operated through the non-profit entity VšĮ "Telšių futbolo ateitis". The club fields a senior men's team competing in the A Lyga and I Lyga, a reserve side (Džiugas B), a women's football program, a youth academy spanning U6 through U16 age groups, and amateur/veteran sections. It also hosts the annual international Telšiai City Cup youth tournament, providing competitive exposure for academy players against foreign opposition.

The operational backbone is lean: approximately twelve staff are listed across coaching, medical, administrative, and management functions, with no disclosed technology platform beyond a WordPress-based public website using the SportsPress plugin for fixtures, results, and team data. No proprietary software, data products, or technology stack is in evidence; the product surface is the on-pitch football product and the associated training, academy, and community programming.

The business model is a non-profit sports club revenue stack: corporate sponsorship (including 7bet, Puma, Telšių Statyba, Žilevana, Raiska, Telse, and others), academy and training fees paid by families, municipal and federation support, gate and matchday income, and ancillary merchandise and event revenue. The customer base spans spectators, academy parents, amateur/veteran participants, women's team members, and sponsor counterparties. No audited revenue, funding rounds, or commercial contract values are disclosed in the available data.
