FREEDOM MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL INC

What FREEDOM MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL INC does

Freedom Ministries International Inc is a private religious nonprofit organization founded by Reverend Igor Ashkinazi in the early 1990s, following his 1982 conversion and subsequent 6.5 years of full-time missionary work among Russian Jews. The ministry's primary mission is to share the Gospel with Russian-speaking Jewish people who migrated from the former Soviet Union to destinations including the United States, Israel, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, and Latvia. Its core offerings consist of in-person evangelistic Bible studies (including four studies established in Brooklyn, NY), signature Messianic Jewish presentations such as "Christ in the Passover," "Jewish Roots of Pentecost," and "Christ in the Feast of Tabernacles," and touring speaking engagements at churches, conferences, youth groups, and Christian schools. Supporting products include authored books (Path To Victory Bible, The Israel Omen, The Messianic Church Arising), a quarterly newsletter subscription, and donation gift packages featuring a Tallit with Hebrew/English New Covenant Bible.

The organization operates a Wayne, NJ headquarters together with two service locations: Beit Hofesh, a Messianic Jewish congregation holding Saturday services in Manhattan, and a Brooklyn church hosting Russian-language Sunday services. Distribution is conducted through direct mail appeals, a PayPal donation channel, a ShopSite-powered e-commerce storefront, downloadable PDF content, and personal church outreach by Reverend Ashkinazi. The business model is entirely donation-based, depending on tax-deductible gifts from individual Christians and supporting congregations, with no disclosed institutional donors, parent company, or external investors. There is no proprietary technology platform; the ministry is delivered through in-person ministry, printed materials, and basic web/e-commerce infrastructure.

Freedom Ministries International is led entirely by its founder, Reverend Igor Ashkinazi, who maintains operational control as the principal minister. His personal testimony — a Russian Jew converted from atheism, former USSR Master of Sport in acrobatics and Moscow Circus star — is described as a core element of the ministry's credibility and audience engagement. Customer concentration is structurally high given the lack of enterprise donors or recurring contracts, and the organization's reach is bounded by the touring capacity of a single principal minister.
