IPEFA Verviers

What IPEFA Verviers does

IPEFA Verviers (Institut Provincial d'Enseignement et de Formation pour Adultes) is a public adult education institution operated by the Province de Liège in Verviers, Walloon Region, Belgium. It is one of five branches in the provincial IPEFA network, alongside IPEFA Herstal, IPEFA Huy-Waremme, IPEFA Seraing, and IPEFA Sup. The institution serves adult learners and working professionals seeking vocational training, professional retraining, continuing education, or secondary-level qualifications, with horizontal segmentation across individuals rather than any enterprise B2B channel.

The institution delivers modular training programs across multiple sectors, including general education (French, mathematics, foreign languages), economics and management (including bachelor's-level programs in accounting and business management), environmental and horticultural training (gardener / jardinier, forestry technician / sylviculture), industrial skills (electricity, welding, programmable logic controllers), computing, and paramedical care. Training is offered in both daytime and evening schedules to accommodate working adults, with curricula described as adapted to evolving production technologies and market requirements. Supporting services include skills validation (Valorisation des acquis / Boîte à outils), student accompaniment and inclusion support, and access to international exchange via the Erasmus program under IPEFA Sup.

IPEFA Verviers is funded as a government entity through the Province de Liège, supplemented by the European Social Fund (FSE / Fonds Social Européen). The institution does not publicly disclose tuition or pricing, and prospective students enroll via official registration processes, including an online pre-registration portal managed through the provincial website. No proprietary technology, mobile app, or API infrastructure is disclosed.
