Life Christian Church

What Life Christian Church does

Life Christian Church is a private, non-profit Pentecostal church headquartered on a 48-acre campus at 2560 Eaton Rapids Rd., Lansing, MI 48911, serving the Greater Lansing area. Founded in 1971 as Eastside Apostolic Tabernacle and affiliated with the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI) denomination, the church operates a 500-seat sanctuary and offers three weekly service times (Sunday 11AM, Monday all-church prayer 7PM, Wednesday 7PM). Under Senior Pastor Jared Wilkerson (elected January 2021), it runs a horizontally segmented ministry portfolio spanning nursery, children's (Life Kids, Life Littles), youth (Life Youth, Ignite 517), young adults (Hyphen), and senior adults (Life 50 & Wiser), supplemented by Bible Quizzing, Bible Studies & Groups, Music Ministry, Member Care, and a Transportation Ministry.

The church's technology stack is standard and not proprietary: livestreamed services are broadcast and archived on Facebook and YouTube; online tithing runs through FaithTeams; branded merchandise is fulfilled via Printful on-demand; and pastoral appointments are scheduled through Calendly. An in-house IT department handles sound, projection, and videography. There are no proprietary software products, AI/ML capabilities, or developer-facing APIs.

The revenue model is donation-driven. Primary revenue comes from voluntary tithes (10% of congregant income) and offerings collected in person and via the FaithTeams online giving platform. Secondary, immaterial revenue streams include facility rentals for external events and the Life Merch print-on-demand merchandise store. Services are free to attend. The customer base is the local Lansing-area community, segmented across age groups, with no enterprise customers, no contracts, and no disclosed financial figures.
