What Misselwood Events at Endicott College does
Misselwood Events at Endicott College is a non-profit event venue department of Endicott College, a private liberal arts institution in Beverly, Massachusetts. Established in 2006, the venue operates from a historic oceanfront estate at 407 Hale Street and rents indoor and outdoor event space to couples, families, and organizations on Massachusetts' North Shore. The venue is owned and operated wholly by Endicott College, which retains all operational and brand rights; no external investors are involved.
The core service portfolio is organized around three event categories — weddings and social events, corporate retreats and conferences, and overnight programs — all delivered at the same physical estate. A signature sub-brand, the Misselwood Concours d'Elegance, hosts an annual antique automobile and motorcycle show that functions as both a brand-building event and a discrete revenue line via sponsorships, vehicle nominations, and club memberships. Supporting infrastructure includes a 360° virtual tour (hosted via vrticalmedia), an events calendar, an email newsletter, and active social profiles on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
The business model is service-based: revenue is generated through venue rental for weddings, social events, corporate functions, and multi-day programs, priced on a quote basis with multi-year contract cadences. Pricing is not publicly disclosed. Go-to-market is event-driven and inquiry-based, supported by sustained industry recognition (The Knot Best of Weddings in 2021, 2022, and 2025; Hall of Fame inductee; WeddingWire Couples' Choice 2022; Unique Venues Planner's Choice 2024; 2026 Bons Wedding Best of Northshore) and ten regional chamber and tourism affiliations spanning the North Shore and Merrimack Valley. The venue employs approximately 13 people and is actively taking reservations through 2027 and 2028.
