Pensionist Idræt

What Pensionist Idræt does

Pensionist Idræt (CVR 23267217) is a Danish member-based sports association (forening) headquartered at Brøndby Hallen, Brøndby Stadion 10, 2605 Brøndby, Denmark. The organization serves Danish seniors (pensionists) seeking age-appropriate physical activity and social engagement. Its core offering consists of organized exercise and sports programs — primarily gymnastics and badminton — delivered through seasonal team cohorts (Sæsonhold) and an annual activity program (Program 2026-2027), supplemented by instructional classes such as Undervisning Maj 2026. Operations are concentrated at the Brøndby Hallen venue in the Capital Region of Denmark, with no disclosed geographic expansion beyond the local Brøndby catchment.

Underlying technology is minimal and entirely third-party: member registration, scheduling, and facility bookings are handled through the Halbooking booking portal developed by Globus Data. The organization does not maintain its own proprietary technology platform, mobile app, or API surface. Members register and access programs via the Halbooking portal.

The business model is community-led and subscription-based, with revenue generated from seasonal/annual membership fees for participation in exercise and sports classes. A secondary, smaller revenue stream comes from branded merchandise (T-shirts) sold through the organization's own online storefront. A discount partnership with ProAlign (ProAlign Rabat Ordning) provides members with reduced pricing on sports equipment but does not appear to be a material revenue contributor. The organization is privately operated as a non-commercial sports association, with no parent company, no venture or private equity ownership, and no public listing.
