RC Production

What RC Production does

RC Production GmbH & Co. KG is a privately held German dubbing and synchronization company founded in 1995 by Rasema Cibic and headquartered at Studio Babelsberg in Potsdam since 2023. The company provides professional German-language dubbing services for international feature films, television series, and streaming content, serving enterprise clients that include the major Hollywood studios (Warner Bros. Discovery, Universal, Paramount, Sony, Disney/20th Century Fox, DreamWorks), European distributors (StudioCanal, Constantin, Leonine, Tobis, Concorde), German and international broadcasters (Sky, RTL, ZDF, BBC), and streaming platforms (Amazon). Its service offering spans the full dubbing workflow — voice casting, translation and lip-sync adaptation, dialog directing, production management, voice recording, and final mixing — delivered through a combination of in-house project coordination and recording capacity operated via its wholly owned subsidiary Hermes Synchron Studios, which operates three modernized recording studios and a mixing stage within a 1,000 m2 facility at Studio Babelsberg.

The technology stack is centered on professional audio post-production rather than proprietary software: ProTools editing systems, multi-format mixing capability (TV, 5.1, 7.1, SRD, THX, SDDS, Dolby Atmos), high-speed file-transfer infrastructure backed by an in-house Synology server, and physical security controls (material safes, video monitoring, alarm systems) designed to meet studio content-protection requirements. No AI or machine-learning capabilities are disclosed.

Revenue is generated exclusively through project-based B2B contracts with studios, distributors, broadcasters, and streamers, priced per project on a quote basis with no public pricing or standardized rate card. The go-to-market motion is sales-led and relationship-driven: deal flow comes from direct enterprise relationships built over 26+ years, reinforced by the company's membership in the Synchron Verband and BVDSP industry associations and by its operational presence at Studio Babelsberg. The company has no public listing, no institutional investors, no disclosed funding rounds, and is wholly owned by Christian Wunder, who also controls Hermes Synchron. The two entities operate independently but share resources and increasingly co-produce projects.
