Broad incumbents

• Activ Fitness: Swiss fitness and recreation chain with multiple sites across German-speaking Switzerland. Comparable to SFD as a multi-site Swiss recreation operator serving local communities, though its core offering is indoor fitness rather than mixed ice/pool/leisure facilities.
• Migros Fitnesspark: Migros Group's chain of large fitness and recreational sports centers across Switzerland. Comparable to SFD as a multi-facility recreation operator in the Swiss market, though it operates commercial (non-municipal) facilities with broader fitness-club positioning.
• Fitness First Switzerland: International premium fitness club operator active in Switzerland. Comparable as a subscription-driven Swiss recreation operator competing for the same household leisure budget as SFD's season-pass model, though it does not operate ice or outdoor swimming facilities.

Others

• Genossenschaft Migros Zürich: Swiss retail and services cooperative that operates recreational facilities, pools and sports infrastructure across the Zurich region. Comparable to SFD as a large-scale operator of Swiss public-access leisure facilities serving similar household customers, though with vastly broader scope across grocery and other retail.
• Letzigraben (City of Zurich Sportanlage): City of Zurich's municipal sports complex including ice rink and pool facilities. Comparable to SFD as another Swiss municipality operating public sports facilities on a similar multi-asset basis, though directly managed by the city rather than through a dedicated Aktiengesellschaft like SFD.

Regional players

• Kieser Training: Swiss-headquartered strength-training chain with operations across Switzerland and Germany. Relevant peer for benchmarking Swiss recreation/sports facility operations and local subscription-based member revenue models, though its offering is narrowly focused on strength equipment rather than ice or aquatic facilities.

Emerging players

• Padel One: Swiss Padel court operator building dedicated Padel facilities. Directly comparable to SFD's newly added Padel offering as a Padel facility operator in Switzerland, capturing the same sports-growth tailwind, though focused exclusively on Padel rather than a multi-sport portfolio.
