Ski & Snowboardschule Sport Alpin Zell Am See

What Ski & Snowboardschule Sport Alpin Zell Am See does

Ski & Snowboardschule Sport Alpin Zell Am See is an Austrian ski and snowboard school operating as a privately held general partnership (OG) under the legal name Skischule und Snowboardschule SPORT ALPIN OG Zell am See, managed by Harald Eder and Gebhard Köberl. The company delivers group lessons, private instruction, ski guiding, ski touring, snowshoe hiking, telemark lessons, and integrated equipment rental in the Zell am See-Kaprun ski region, which was expanded through the merger with Saalbach, Hinterglemm, Leogang, and Fieberbrunn into one of the largest ski areas in Europe. Courses are segmented by age (children aged 3–12, teenagers aged 13–17, adults) and skill level, and instruction is delivered by multilingual instructors covering 11 languages to serve an international tourist base.

The business is operated through a hybrid physical-digital distribution model. Four physical locations in Zell am See — Shop Schmittenhöhe (Sonnenalmbahn base), Shop AreitXpress (headquarters at Flugplatzstraße 16), Shop Postplatz (city center), and Office CityXpress — function as equipment pickup/return points and lesson meeting points, with equipment rental provided through a Sport 2000 partnership across three retail locations in Economy, Premium, and Platin tiers. A Shopify-based online booking platform at skischool-zellamsee.com handles direct reservations with email ticket delivery and up to a 10% online discount, while a referral network of approximately 30 partner hotels, apartments, and pensions drives top-of-funnel guest acquisition.

Pricing is unit-based and per-session or multi-day package, ranging from €81 for a half-day children's beginner course to €306 for a 5-day children's full-day course, €184.50–€306 for private lessons, €387 for full-day ski guiding (up to 8 people), and €33–€267 for equipment rental across 6–7 day packages. Family, child, and teen discounts (up to 50% for children under 15, 20% for teens under 18, free child under 11 with parent rental) plus a "rent 7 pay 6" rental promotion support family-oriented demand. The school is regulated by the Salzburger Schilehrerverband under the Salzburger Schischulgesetz, has no public listing, no disclosed funding or institutional investment, and no parent company.
