SMLXL

What SMLXL does

SMLXL s. r. o. is a privately held Czech architectural studio headquartered in Prague (Finská 1, Praha 10 – Vršovice), founded around 2009 and operating with a core team of approximately 8 architects. The studio specializes in interior design and architectural services for residential projects — primarily apartment reconstructions, family house interiors, attic conversions, and developer-project apartments — alongside a smaller portfolio of hospitality interiors (Vnitroblock restaurant, Moshi Moshi bistro) and historic tenement reconstructions. Its service model integrates five modules under a single engagement: initial consultation and assignment, design and visualization, construction management, custom furniture design, and end-to-end project management, with the studio acting as sole point of accountability from concept through realization.

The studio operates on a project-based professional services revenue model with custom quote-based pricing tied to scope, complexity, and duration; contracts typically span multiple years. Distribution is direct-to-client via studio consultation and a referral-driven marketing engine comprising a website project portfolio plus organic social presence on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. The customer base is a long-tail mix of family house owners, apartment owners, developer-project buyers, restaurant/café operators, and pre-purchase consultants, with two named reference projects (Vnitroblock, Moshi Moshi). Technology is limited to standard architectural design and visualization tools; no proprietary platform, API, or AI capability is disclosed.

SMLXL has accumulated 150+ project realizations over 15+ years and displays multiple Czech interior design award badges on its portfolio. The firm has no external institutional investors, no disclosed subsidiaries, no partnerships, and no public listing. Geographic scope remains domestic (Czech Republic), with a recently added English-language website hinting at modest international aspiration but no evidence of cross-border delivery.
