Thomas More Prep Marian High School

What Thomas More Prep Marian High School does

Thomas More Prep-Marian Jr./Sr. High School is a private Catholic secondary school located at 1701 Hall Street in Hays, Kansas. The institution operates as part of the Hays Catholic Schools system and serves students from middle school through senior high school, offering a college preparatory curriculum integrated with Catholic faith formation. Its primary customer segment is students and families in western Kansas seeking values-based secondary education, and it extends its reach through a domestic student boarding program that draws applicants from a broader geographic footprint.

The school runs a single campus with 11-50 employees and delivers instruction, athletics (including the Monarch Football Madness program), and extracurricular activities in a faith-based environment. Its value proposition centers on combining college preparatory academics with character and spiritual development rooted in Catholic teachings, alongside the relative personalization available at small regional Catholic schools. Tuition and fees are not publicly disclosed, consistent with nonprofit private school practice.

From a business model standpoint, the institution is funded primarily through tuition, supplemented by fundraising (including the active Pavers Project capital campaign hosted on Givebutter) and alumni engagement managed through the RocketAlumni platform. Its digital presence is operated on the Apptegy platform and includes a website, iOS and Android mobile applications, and social media channels (Facebook and X/Twitter). No revenue figures are disclosed, and the organization carries no venture, private equity, or public ownership — operating under religious-affiliated nonprofit governance.
