Youree Drive Middle School

What Youree Drive Middle School does

Youree Drive Middle School, formally "Youree Drive Middle Advanced Placement Magnet," is a public middle school operated by Caddo Parish Public Schools in Shreveport, Louisiana. The institution is located at 6008 Youree Dr and serves students in grades 6-8 with a stated focus on an Advanced Placement Magnet program, offering a more rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum than standard district middle schools. Services are provided at no direct cost to students; the school is funded through public education budgets administered by the district rather than through commercial revenue.

The school's core technology footprint consists of a website (youreedrive.com) powered by the Apptegy content management and digital communications platform, supplemented by dedicated iOS and Android mobile applications. Operational workflows for parents and students run through three district-integrated tools: jGrade (Student Progress Center) for real-time grade and assignment monitoring, School Cash Online for fee and lunch payments, and Local Level Events for community event listings. Marketing and outreach are conducted through the website, a Facebook page (facebook.com/youreedrivemiddle), and the mobile apps, with enrollment itself administered centrally by Caddo Parish Public Schools.

From a business-model standpoint, this is a government/state entity, not a commercial enterprise. There is no disclosed revenue, no pricing model, no funding rounds, no M&A activity, no named management team, and no parent-company investment vehicle — it is owned and operated by Caddo Parish Public Schools. As a result, traditional investment metrics such as revenue band, customer concentration, moat, and growth trajectory either do not apply or cannot be reliably derived from the available data.
