ZSCKR

What ZSCKR does

Zespół Szkół Centrum Kształcenia Rolniczego w Okszowie (ZSCKR) is a public Polish agricultural education center operated directly by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development (Minister Rolnictwa i Rozwoju Wsi), with its main campus at Szkolna 2, Okszów-Kolonia, Poland. The institution is named after Józef Piłsudski and forms part of Poland's national system of agricultural vocational schools, serving approximately 122 employees in instructional, administrative, and operational roles. Its primary "customers" are secondary-school students enrolled through the Polish national education recruitment system, drawn primarily from the Lublin Voivodeship region.

The institution's educational portfolio comprises four core offerings: a Technikum (technical secondary school) with vocational specializations in agricultural mechanization and agrotronics (technik mechanizacji rolnictwa i agrotroniki), veterinary technology (technik weterynarii), and food service and catering (technik żywienia i usług gastronomicznych); first- and second-level vocational schools (Branżowa Szkoła I and II stopnia); professional qualification courses such as ROL.04 Prowadzenie produkcji rolniczej (Agricultural Production Management); and an on-campus boarding house (Internat) with a separate recruitment process. Operations are supported by the Vulcan.net.pl e-Dziennik electronic gradebook, the official gov.pl portal, and a Facebook presence, and the school participates in the EU Erasmus+ mobility program enabling foreign apprenticeships (for example, a May 2026 placement in Greece).

The business model is that of a state-funded public institution: tuition is free under the Ministry of Agriculture's oversight, with revenue derived from the Polish state budget and supplemented by EU project funds (Erasmus+, European Funds). There are no commercial customers, no disclosed revenue figures, no private investors, and no equity instruments; the entity is wholly government-owned. The institution's recent competitive positioning includes the 2026 "ZSCKR Mistrzem Polski" (Poland Champion) student achievement, a "Wielkie Wyróżnienie" (Great Distinction) for students, and recognition as a "Szkoła Wspierająca Honorowe Krwiodawstwo" (School Supporting Voluntary Blood Donation).
