Descriptiontext

Pacific Music Group (the entertainment entity) is a privately held Pan-Asian entertainment company headquartered in Hong Kong, co-founded in 2025 by Grammy-winning artist Ne-Yo, hip-hop artist MC Jin, Indian playback singer Sonu Nigam, and entertainment executive Jonathan Serbin. It operates as a record label and artist management platform through two main vehicles — Pacific Records, the core recording and artist management imprint handling 360-degree deals (recording, touring, merchandise, brand partnerships), and Family Style Records, a Hip-Hop imprint launched in May 2026 under MC Jin's leadership focused on Asian and diaspora Hip-Hop voices. Its roster includes Tiffany Young (Korean branch anchor), TaTa Taktumi (Timbaland's AI-generated artist), and the Family Style debut acts Lil Cherry & Goldbuuda, Nada, and Khantrast.

The business model is built on long-cycle licensing/royalty streams from recorded music plus 360-degree management agreements that capture a share of artist income across recording, touring, merchandise, and brand work. Distribution runs through standard label infrastructure (streaming platforms, Pacific Records for global release, Family Style Records for regional/imprint-specific releases, and a Seoul-based Korean branch for localized A&R and management). The company's go-to-market relies on high-profile artist announcements, founder credibility, and cultural-moment timing (AAPI Heritage Month, artist milestone anniversaries) to generate press coverage across Billboard, Variety, and Korean media, rather than paid marketing.

Note: a same-named, unrelated Sacramento-based pro audio and lighting sales/rental company (founded 2015, 1–10 employees) shares the 'Pacific Music Group' brand. This analysis addresses the Hong Kong-headquartered entertainment entity.
