What America's Custom Home Builders does
America's Custom Home Builders (ACHB) is a privately held, founder-operated construction firm founded in 1999 and headquartered in Skokie, Illinois. Per the firm's stated description, ACHB designs and builds custom homes and offers residential and commercial construction, remodeling, additions, and restoration services, indicating a project-based, multi-trade service model rather than a single-product offering. The company operates with a small team of 1-10 employees and is led by Ted Lazar as founder and president, implying a tightly held, principal-led delivery model typical of boutique custom builders.
The firm's revenue mechanics are project-based: custom home construction, remodeling, additions, and restoration are typically contracted on a fixed-price or cost-plus basis per project, with no disclosed pricing, subscription, or recurring revenue model. No customer logos, segments, partnerships, or marketing channels are disclosed in the source data, and the company website (achbuilders-design.com) currently displays only a verification/loading page, providing no further substantive information about service offerings, geographic reach, or backlog. No funding rounds, investors, subsidiaries, patents, certifications, or regulatory disclosures are present in the input.
Operationally, ACHB functions as a small local services business with no disclosed technology stack, no AI/ML capabilities, and no digital product surface. The absence of most second-party data markers (awards, press, certifications, leadership bench beyond the founder) constrains the depth of any external assessment.
