What Boston glass decor does

Boston Glass Group is a privately held, founder-operated custom glazing contractor headquartered in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, founded around 2012-2014. The company designs, fabricates, and installs bespoke glass products for high-end residential and commercial clients across greater Boston, MetroWest communities, and the South/North Shore. Core products include frameless shower enclosures (measured and fabricated to 1/16 inch precision), glass railings using Taper-Loc and standoff systems, custom mirrors (bathroom, antique, colored, one-way), glass doors and walls (sliding, wine cellars, bi-folding), and specialty glass (glass floors/treads, backpainted, LED edge-lit, Dip-Tech ceramic printed, insulated units, backsplashes, tabletops). Commercial offerings span aluminum storefronts, glass partitions, fire-rated glass, and maintenance/repair services.

The business operates a project-based revenue model with custom quote-based pricing and free estimates; there is no public pricing or recurring subscription component. Go-to-market combines an appointment-only Design Studio showroom, a field sales team reachable by phone and text, an online Shower Design Tool and quote request form, organic social on Instagram and Facebook, and location-targeted SEO service pages for specific Massachusetts towns. The company maintains a network of supplier and authorized-dealer partnerships with manufacturers including CRLaurence, KN Crowder, Dip-Tech, Hope's Steel, Renaissance GSB, Kartners, Portals, Walter's Mirror, and Lucid Glass Studios, enabling access to premium materials without owning the underlying fabrication IP.

The company is not venture-backed and discloses no revenue or funding figures. With 11-50 employees and a regional single-state footprint, scale is constrained by skilled labor capacity and regional construction demand. Recent strategic activity has focused on premium positioning and capability expansion, including earning three 2026 PROAWARD Gold Winner awards (Architecture, Glass, Stairs) and opening a dedicated Design Studio showroom, alongside incremental product line extensions into specialty and commercial segments.

Comparable end-to-end measured/fabricated/installed service model and homeowner target market, though focused on windows rather than interior glass.
