ADDISON ICE ARENA

What ADDISON ICE ARENA does

Addison Ice Arena (Addison Ice LLC) is a privately held, two-rink ice sports complex located at 475 S. Grace Street in Addison, Illinois, serving the Greater Chicago metropolitan area. The facility operates both an NHL-size rink and an Olympic-size rink, making it one of the larger dual-surface venues in the region, and runs on-site amenities including the Blue Line Bar & Grill (food and beverage, operating since 2010) and the Home Ice Sports Pro Shop (retail hockey/skating equipment, operating since 2022).

The arena's product surface spans four core revenue streams: (1) ice time rental and slot sales to leagues, teams, and individuals, (2) program registration fees covering the Adult Hockey League (AAHL), learn-to-skate, Rat Hockey, Stick & Puck, and the USFS-certified Elite Edge Skating Academy led by Figure Skating Director Tiffany Sfikas (former Team USA member, two-time British pairs champion), (3) public skating, group events, birthday parties, and school group nights through the Schools on Ice program, and (4) on-site F&B and equipment retail. Day-to-day operations are run by General Manager Chris Coconate, Director of Operations Jay Kermer, and AAHL Director Jackie Merrill, with a reported headcount of 1-10.

Go-to-market is event-driven and facility-based: registrations, league signups, and group bookings are captured through the website (powered by SportsEngine SRM), phone inquiries, social channels (Instagram, Facebook), and partner organizations including Team Illinois AAA Hockey (since 2024) and York Hockey Club. Pricing is quote-based across all programs and not publicly disclosed; league registrations follow seasonal subscription cadences. The entity operates as a single-location LLC with no disclosed funding, parent company, or external investors.
