Quid Novi is a privately held, founder-led for-profit organization based in Fort Collins/Loveland, Colorado, that operates a monthly showcase event series under the doing-business-as name "Quid Novi Innovations." Founded in 2010 by Rick Griggs, the organization hosts ten in-person showcases per year at The Forge Events Center, each featuring an author plus an inventor or idea originator on topics spanning innovation, AI, journalism, climate change, filmmaking, nonprofit leadership, and entrepreneurship. Events include a Book Expo component developed in partnership with Writing Heights, hors d'oeuvres, and exhibitor booths from local nonprofits and community organizations. Revenue is generated primarily through $20 individual event tickets (with door pricing at $25) plus exhibitor and sponsorship fees; the organization also offers membership and work-based internship pathways via its website.

The organization is governed by a steering committee that includes founder Rick Griggs, retired journalist Ken Amundson, nonprofit co-founder Dave Boon, marketer Drew Giffin (owner of DGM Solutions), writer Mimi Wahlfeldt, and freelance writer Bob McDonnell. There is no proprietary technology platform; the website (quidnovi.io) is a WordPress site with Stripe payment processing for ticketing, and the company maintains a presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. No outside investment, parent company, or subsidiaries are indicated in the source materials — the entity is self-funded through ticket and sponsorship revenue.

The customer base is geographically concentrated in Northern Colorado and consists of community members, local authors, inventors, and nonprofit organizations seeking inspiration, networking, and visibility. Strategic partnerships — most notably with Writing Heights (core) and Griggs Achievement (core, founder-linked) — supply content pipelines, while smaller partnerships with organizations such as Empowering Opportunities, Friends of Lackota, Boys & Girls Club of Larimer County, Elevations Credit Union, and Living Her Legacy function as cross-promotional and exhibitor relationships. The overall operating model is a small-scale, community-driven events series with no disclosed growth in headcount, geography, or revenue scale.
