Rk Studio

What Rk Studio does

RK Studio is a small designer-maker studio based in Preston, Lancashire, registered as RK Bespoke Design Limited (Company No. 15056625), founded in 2023 by husband-and-wife team Ra-ees Khaidoo and Kelly, who bring backgrounds in architecture, interior design, and project management. The studio specialises in residential interior design and handcrafted bespoke furniture manufactured in its Lancashire workshop using FSC-accredited timber, locally sourced hardwoods, and traditional woodworking techniques, supplemented by Jesmonite casting for a small homeware line of candle holders. Customer testimonials on the website describe high-satisfaction bespoke fitted furniture installations in residential properties.

The commercial offering is organised around three revenue streams: (1) bespoke fitted furniture (wardrobes, media walls, alcove cabinets, dressing rooms, library walls) sold on a project-enquiry basis across North West England with 50% deposit on design approval and 50% on completion; (2) freestanding solid oak furniture pieces such as Coffee Table 001 (£975) and Dining Table 001 (£3,295), made to order with hand delivery and installation across England, Scotland, and Wales; and (3) interior design services delivered in three escalating tiers (Concept Design, Developed Design with 3D renders, and Comprehensive Interior Design & Documentation) on a deposit-plus-milestone billing schedule. A Jesmonite candle-holder homeware line (small £12.99, large £15.99) is sold through the Squarespace-powered e-commerce storefront.

The go-to-market is sales-led and direct-to-consumer, with no paid acquisition infrastructure beyond Google Ads and Meta Pixel tracking; customer acquisition is driven primarily by Instagram and Facebook content, blog posts, and organic SEO targeting bespoke furniture and North West interior design searches. The studio operates from a single Preston workshop that doubles as collection point, with no physical showroom. As of the most recent signals, RK Studio is fully booked until August 2026 for bespoke projects, indicating sustained demand outstripping current capacity.
