What Telemark Construction Inc does
Telemark Construction Inc (legally Telemark Inc.) is a privately held, family-owned luxury home builder founded in 1978 and headquartered in Bridgehampton, New York. The company designs and builds bespoke luxury residences throughout the Hamptons, with a portfolio of named projects in Bridgehampton, Sagaponack, Southampton, Amagansett, East Hampton, and Water Mill. Each engagement is highly consultative, with Telemark working directly with high-net-worth clients and their architects from design through completion. Underlying technology is conventional residential construction augmented by an in-house architectural millwork capability delivered through a wholly-owned subsidiary.
The company operates through three integrated divisions: the core Telemark Inc. luxury home building service, Telemark Service & Maintenance Inc., which delivers recurring property services to the existing client base, and Bridgehampton Millwork Inc., which produces custom architectural woodwork, cabinetry, and built-in furniture. Telemark has also extended into commercial construction, including hospitality projects such as a hotel in Amagansett. Revenue is generated from one-time bespoke construction projects priced individually by scope, materials, and complexity, supplemented by the recurring maintenance subsidiary.
The go-to-market motion is enterprise-grade field sales directed at Hamptons-area high-net-worth individuals, relying on the company's 45+ year brand reputation, a portfolio website, Instagram presence, and direct referrals. Telemark has collaborated with a curated set of notable architects including Rafael Vinoly Architects, Bates Masi + Architects, Stott/Lee Architecture, Frank Greenwald Architect, Grade New York, Zwirko & Ortmann, and others. The firm remains family-controlled with no external investors identified in the source data.
