Set Sail Marine, LLC

What Set Sail Marine, LLC does

Set Sail Marine, LLC is a Fort Lauderdale-based private LLC operating in the marine services and equipment retail sector. The company sells new and used marine equipment across electrical, electronic, and navigation categories through a Shopify-powered e-commerce storefront and an eBay sales channel, with a catalog of approximately 17 products priced between $20 and $150. It also provides yacht electrical installation and repair services in the South Florida market, holding ABYC Marine Electrician Certification, which qualifies it to deliver accredited marine electrical work. International shipping is offered worldwide, extending its addressable market beyond the United States.

The business operates as a family-run operation with a reported headcount of 1-10 employees. Its go-to-market combines transactional e-commerce sales of marine hardware with localized professional services. Revenue mechanics are split between unit-priced equipment sales via online channels and project-based fees for yacht electrical installation and repair work. The company has not disclosed funding, leadership beyond the family-run structure, or partnership relationships, and no acquisitions or leadership changes are documented.

Underlying technology is limited to standard e-commerce platforms (Shopify, eBay). No proprietary software, data assets, or AI/ML capabilities are referenced in the available data. Customer segments are not formally named but appear to comprise individual yacht owners, boat buyers, and DIY marine enthusiasts purchasing low-ticket accessories, alongside South Florida-based yacht owners commissioning installation and repair services.
