Dez Appliances Inc.

What Dez Appliances Inc. does

Dez Appliances Inc. is a Canadian-based, privately held specialty retailer that distributes and retails modern kitchen, bathroom, and home appliances and fixtures to residential homeowners and renovation contractors in British Columbia. The company operates two complementary channels: a transactional e-commerce storefront at dezappliances.com shipping across BC, and a physical showroom at 801 West 1st Street in North Vancouver that the company identifies as the North Shore's largest kitchen and bath fixture and accessory showroom. There is no public listing, no disclosed funding history, no parent company, and headcount is reported at 1-10 employees.

The product portfolio spans three categories: kitchen (sinks, faucets, accessories under the UKINOX house brand plus third-party lines), bathroom (vanity sinks, faucets, shower sets, bathtubs, toilets, shower doors, and bases sourced primarily from Sky Land and CAE), and major appliances from European manufacturers including Fulgor Milano (Italian premium cooking and refrigeration across the 100-700 series), Blomberg (gas ranges, refrigerators, laundry), Faber (ventilation), BREDA (dishwashers), Fhiaba (premium refrigeration), Irinox (blast chillers), and CAVAVIN (wine coolers). UKINOX represents the company's proprietary or exclusive brand for stainless steel sinks and faucets, providing assortment and margin differentiation versus generic reselling.

The business model is straightforward one-time product sales at listed retail prices, with pay-as-you-go billing and shipping calculated at checkout. Pricing ranges from roughly $8 for accessories to over $12,000 for premium professional ranges, with periodic promotional discounts (e.g., a 50% off BREDA door promotion). The company supports CAD and USD transactions and a broad payment mix including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Distribution is supported by content assets (E-Catalogue, customer decision support manual, FAQ, 2023 Booklet) and a light digital marketing footprint across Instagram, Facebook, email newsletter, and local SEO targeting Greater Vancouver sub-markets. Revenue model is purely hardware sales with no subscription, service, or recurring component.
