Product overview

Praktijk Centrum Bomen (PCbomen) is a specialized arboriculture and tree care training and certification institute based in Apeldoorn, Netherlands. The portfolio is organized as a multi-module training ecosystem built around three major international certification tracks — the NKC (Nederlands Kettingzaag Certificaat) chainsaw competency ladder (NKC 1–6), the ETW/ETT (European Tree Worker/Technician) international arboriculture credentials, and the VETcert veteran tree management curriculum — supplemented by climbing and aerial work platform courses, tree safety inspection and data inspection programs (BVC, BVI, DIB-VO), and a broad range of specialized short courses covering chainsaw work (Klimmen 1–4), brush cutting, road safety, disease management, plant identification, communication skills, and project management. The offering is anchored by the NKC chainsaw certification system, the ETW/ETT European arboriculture certification pathway, and the BVC/BVI/DIB-VO tree safety and data inspection certification suite, all of which feed into the Kennisuren (knowledge hour) tracking program and the Groen Register digital registry for professional recertification management.

Comparable as the upstream standards authority that defines what PCbomen examines, and as the entity whose recognition grants PCbomen its examination institution status.
