What Hero Squared Korlatolt Felelossegu Tarsasag does

Hero Squared Korlatolt Felelossegu Tarsasag is a Budapest-based, privately held film and television production company incorporated in Hungary. Founded in 2018 and operating with a small team (1-10 employees), the company specializes in providing production services and co-production support for international feature films and series, primarily serving major Hollywood studios and streaming platforms. Its client roster includes Amazon MGM, Netflix, Focus Features, Universal Pictures, and The Daily Wire.

The company's core offering is end-to-end production services in Hungary and broader Europe, including location scouting, crew coordination, permitting, studio facilities, and post-production support. Its portfolio spans action films (The Kellys, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Liam Hemsworth), prestige dramas (Mrs Harris Goes to Paris, The Uprising with Andrew Garfield), tentpole adaptations (Knights of the Zodiac), genre productions (Infinity Pool, The Lair, RIPD 2), and series (The Pendragon Cycles). These projects are not proprietary products but rather service engagements where Hero Squared provides local production infrastructure and expertise.

Revenue is generated through service production fees, co-production arrangements, and licensing deals rather than direct product sales or subscription models. The company leverages Hungary's film tax incentives and cost structure to offer competitive production economics relative to Western European and North American locations. Its go-to-market relies on industry press coverage in trade publications such as Deadline, Variety, and The Hollywood Reporter, alongside relationships with international talent and studio decision-makers. The company is actively operating, with production announcements extending into 2026.
