Neue Medien Edv - Systeme Gmbh

What Neue Medien Edv - Systeme Gmbh does

Neue Medien Edv-Systeme GmbH (operating as nmedv) is a Chemnitz, Germany–based IT system house founded in the mid-1990s that delivers enterprise IT consulting, network integration, and instructor-led training. Its core commercial asset is authorized training-partner status with OpenText (formerly Micro Focus), covering the ZENworks, GroupWise, Filr, Open Enterprise Server, Secure Messaging Gateway, and Retain product lines; a secondary partnership with ENGL extends the curriculum beyond that stack. The company has begun complementing its legacy OpenText/Micro Focus catalog with a Modern & Mobile Device Management track spanning iOS, Android, and MDM, and has introduced a training-voucher product to facilitate multi-seat enterprise and government procurement.

The business model is transactional and seat-based: customers pay between EUR 850 and EUR 1,900 per participant per course, delivered in German in its home market and in English across EMEA, APAC (including Australia), and the Americas. Customer segments are described as businesses and government agencies, with no named logos disclosed. Operationally, the company runs with a five-person team led by Managing Director Thomas Stimper; it is a privately held GmbH with no external funding, no acquisitions, and no disclosed financials, positioning it as a stable micro-business rather than a venture-backed scale play.
