Plants In Design Inc

What Plants In Design Inc does

Plants In Design Inc is a wholesale grower of pre-finished and in-bloom bromeliads operating from a 35-acre nursery in Homestead, Florida. The company produces plants across multiple genera — Guzmania, Neoregelia, Aechmea, Vriesea, and ornamental Pineapples — in a range of sizes (2 to 10 inches), colors, and bloom life durations (6 to 12 weeks), alongside a complementary accessory line of ceramic containers, drip pot upgrades, and decorative hat covers. Its 64+ variety catalog is supported by direct relationships with hybridizers and laboratories worldwide that supply new color and shape hybrids.

The operation runs on state-of-the-art greenhouse infrastructure with computerized irrigation systems and robotics, which the company describes as the most technologically advanced facility of its type in the bromeliad industry. It sells exclusively wholesale to four customer segments — resorts, florists, resellers, and interiorscape designers — and ships throughout North America including the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and selected areas in South America. Pricing is quote-based, with customers building wishlists and submitting quote requests through the company website, indicating a project-driven, B2B sales motion rather than a transactional e-commerce model.

The company has operated continuously since the early 1980s and has accumulated industry recognition including consecutive Interiorscape Magazine National Awards as Major Supplier for the Best Project and recurring Tropical Plant Industry Exhibition Awards. It maintains a partnership with Green Plants for Green Buildings and markets through its own website plus Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook channels. No funding rounds, parent company, management bios, patents, trademarks, or financial disclosures are present in the available input.
