Friends of Amateur Rocketry, Inc.

What Friends of Amateur Rocketry, Inc. does

Friends of Amateur Rocketry, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides facilities and supervision for amateur rocket static tests, launches, and STEM education. The organization serves hobbyist rocketry practitioners and educational programs that require dedicated infrastructure for safely conducting motor tests and vehicle launches, activities that typically cannot be performed in residential or generic community settings due to safety, propellant handling, and regulatory requirements.

The company's core offering is physical access to launch and test infrastructure combined with on-site supervisory expertise, an unusual niche outside the commercial aerospace sector. Its business model appears consistent with a typical small non-profit: likely sustained by donations, grants, membership fees, and program revenues tied to launch events and STEM curricula, though no pricing, funding, or revenue data is present in the available source material.

Data quality is a material constraint for this assessment. The provided source and website URL (cahascottsdale.com) pertain to CAHA, a youth hockey organization in Scottsdale, Arizona, not to the rocketry entity. No management team, headcount, financials, customer list, or technology stack information was provided for Friends of Amateur Rocketry, Inc. Consequently, the company description above reflects only the brief self-description supplied in the firmographic record.
